Esfandiari's father went to sleep in his condo and woke the next day to find several things missing from his safe, including $150,000 in cash, a platinum diamond bracelet valued at $350,000 and between $300,000 and $500,000 in poker chips.
Police responded to take a report and learned a woman, identified as Svitlana Silva, had been living with Esfandiari's father off and on for several months.
Detectives interviewed Silva, who said she lived with Esfandiari's father and moved out in March, but knew where to find a spare key, according to the report.
By August, Esfandiari told police he learned Silva took part in a poker tournament at a friend's house that month.
She played using chips from Aria and Bellagio, and another player cashed out with a combination of cash and chips that she brought, the report states.
Silva reportedly asked that person to get the chips back, claiming they were marked so nobody else could cash them.

Police arrested Silva at an Aria parking garage. According to the report, she changed her story, claiming she walked in to find someone in Esfandiari's condo.
